Afghanistan- Canadian CIMIC provides village medical outreach

Video report by Canadian Armed Forces Army News, profiling the 'village medical outreach' program of the Canadian Contingent in southern Afghanistan. While the report highlights the medical support being offered to Afghan women, the whole exercise looks like a heavily militarized operation. The soldiers interviewed confirm this view, explaining that they can do more- and presumably more effective- humanitarian operations since they have been obliged to add more robust force protection.
